Meet Carl Wayne.

If you’ve been looking for a solid, youth-sized horse with some cow sense already in his back pocket, Carl Wayne is worth a look.

At 13.1 hands, he’s a comfortable fit for an average youth rider or even a smaller adult. He’s built well and hasn’t been ridden hard. This horse has loads of untapped potential and would be an ideal fit for a kid who wants to ride ALL day. Every day.

While here with us, Carl Wayne has been exposed to cattle and introduced to the rope. I can see him finishing out into a handy little mount for pushing cows and playing in the roping pen. He’s also stellar on the trails and would make a terrific addition to an adventurous family, looking for a dependable weekend trail partner. Load him up and GO.

Would he make a good lesson horse? He really needs to be fully finished out. I think consistent work from a rider who’s ready to bring him along and put the miles on would get him there, if that’s the route you want to take him.

In the pasture, he’s middle in the pecking order, easy to get along with, and turns out well with mares and geldings. He’s the best we have when it comes to standing for the farrier, and he loads and hauls without issue.

Carl Wayne can be handled easily by a handy kid and has the kind of honest foundation that makes him a smart investment for someone willing to finish him out. We are happy to talk more in-depth with serious buyers who want additional details.

Meet Biscuit.

Biscuit is a sure-footed 2010, 14.1-2 hand Bay Gelding made to work the ranch, cruise the trails in comfort or serve as an all-around family horse on the farm. He is versatile, incredibly steady and has never taken a wrong step.

He enjoys both arena work and the trails - having spent time as a lesson horse while here with us. Good with kids, he adapts to his rider and will take it slow and easy, like it's his job. That said, Biscuit is a ranch-style gelding. He's taken naturally to cows and roping, making him a suitable prospect for more advanced roping, ranch, or farm work.

He's at his best on the trails, where he is next-level comfortable and navigates varied terrain with ease. If Biscuit is anything, it's solid and reliable on the trails. Hands down, he would be our pick to pack up and go. He does need more miles away from home but with continued experience, he will make a tremendous trail partner.

Meet Boomerang.

A solid, super friendly trail horse that will keep you coming back for another adventure. Standing a stout 15.2h this big, beautiful paint is ready to make a splash on the trails this summer. He rides alone or in a group and isn’t the least bit spooky.

On the ground, he is friendly and loves to be the center of attention. He is easy-going and always ready to spend time with you, whether that is checking fences, enjoying a weekend-long trail ride or an afternoon of arena work.

Boomerang is 17 years young. Having spent a good deal of his life as a pasture pet, he is very low mileage and hasn’t been over-ridden or over-worked. There really aren’t many like him. His playful personality sparkles, and his bold color adds loads of flavor to any barn.

Under saddle, he is safe and laid-back with a good balance of whoa and go, when asked. Best suited for an intermediate rider as he is lower mileage and will continue to thrive with a confident, consistent rider.
